About Us
We are a non-profitable organization providing help for the needy for the last 20 years
Our History
An NGO started in 1999 as a result of a God given vision/burden to God’s servant Raju Mathew who saw the need of the less fortunate ones suffering with HIV/AIDS and many opportunistic infections. Soon he was joined by 6 other brothers and sisters from the brethren assemblies. This was after a year of waiting on the Lord. It was registered as a charitable society in 1999. Service was started from Raju Mathew’s home and later as the need for resident care was felt, a land was bought at the present location at Dodda Gubbi, Bangalore. Many believers’ prayers and help were behind this starting. An organization called World servants from Holland helped us in the construction work of the present hospice. With a mere staff of three, we started taking in needy patients. With the help of a part time doctor, one nurse and few brothers to help in all areas, that was our starting in the present location.
We were able to get an adjacent govt. land on lease when we requested it from the then honourable Chief Minister Shri. S.M.Krishna who along with other government officials inaugurated our centre in 2002. Since then we were able to care for few thousands of patients who were destitute and in great need and often rejected and discriminated from homes and society.
Of the many who were cared for, some have found hope beyond the grave. Others who found this hope are living and some are staff now in this institution.
